You’re A Big Deal: Molly Jackson, star of the TV series, “The Magnificent Life Of Meg”
WBD:How did you decide to be an actor?
I loved performing ever since I could walk! My parents signed me up for theater when I was 5, and I haven’t stopped acting since.
WBD:What is your favorite part of your job?
My favorite part about my job is pretending to be other people! I love the challenge of being someone else, getting into their mindset, and adapting to their mannerisms.
WBD:What was your favorite character you’ve played so far?
My favorite character I’ve played so far was probably Meg, on DreamworksTV’s Magnificent Life of Meg on YouTube!
WBD:Tell us the process of voice recording for an animated film.
I have only done ADR for animated films, so I can tell you about that process! It’s usually a one day thing, so I’ll go in for the day and get straight to work! We go in order of the scenes, so we do one scene, then the other, and so on. ADR happens in a big group of people, so all of us take turns at the microphone. It’s really fun being with everyone else!
WBD:What is more fun, shooting a live action movie or an animated feature?
Both are so different, but I love live action the best!
WBD:What’s coming up for you that you’re excited about?
I’m excited for my future work on “The Shadow Guide” with Seraph Films!
WBD:What advice do you have for someone wanting to start down your path?
The best advice I can give is don’t give up! It’s hard to get started. It’s hard to hear “no”. You have to power through though!

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live and why?I would live in Boston! I went to Boston this summer and LOVED it there! I felt so connected to America's history, and I learned so much in my two days there.
If I gave you $20 to spend on anything right now, what would it be?I would probably buy some dog beds, and donate them to the local SPCA!
Tell us something about yourself that would surprise people.I love lizards, frogs, snakes, spiders, all those animals people are afraid to be around! I even own a bearded dragon named Mac.
What advice would you give to your 15 year old self?
One guilty pleasure you aren't willing to give up?I can not give up my daily bowl of ice cream. I love love love ice cream!!!
